Folding: Services

Our folding facilities include 3x MBO B30 Folding machines and 2x MBO T700 high speed folders. The B30 machines are all 4 plate configuration in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Units. The T700 machines have 6 plates in the first unit followed by 4 plates in the 2nd & 3rd Unit.

Final cross folds, Endorse folds and Tricky folds can also be produce on the Z2 knife units

We have 2 Electronic Gatefold plates available for our B30 folders, these can be fitted to any position in either the first or 2nd units giving a wide range of folding possibilities.

A few units have been specially adapted with segmented rollers to take gluing heads & inkjets, glue can be permanent Hot Melt & Cold Glue and Peelable Hot Melt for specialist applications.

All machines are capable of producing multi up work where size allows

These are complemented by 9 Palamides automatic delivery banding machines.

We have 9 Palamides automatic Paper Banding machines. These machines take product direct from the machine they are attached to, either Folders or Saddle Stitchers (Subject to thickness) and Paper Band a Bundle with approx 50mm wide Kraft Tape. This presentation does away with Ram Bundling and presents a perfect Bundle that more and more mailing houses are accepting as an alternative.
